Gmail Is A Great Mail Service With A Lot Of Features, Many Of Us Has No Knowledge About All Of Its Features, Some Features Are Very Useful And Easy To Set Up, And Save A Lots Of Time.Today In This Post I'll Show You How To Set Up Auto Responder In Gmail, One You Set Up It, A Reply Will Be Sent To Incoming Messages Automatically.But This Feature Is For Limited Use, I'll Show You How Its Work, What Its Advantages And Why It Is Only For Limited Use.

You Can Set Up Auto Responder In Gmail On Web And Using Gmail App On Your Mobile Device.Here're The Steps You've To Follow On Web And In Gmail App On Mobile Device: -

Method 1.)For Gmail Web/Desktop Users: -

1.)First Of All Visit Gmail On Desktop, Sign In With That Gmail Account In Which You Want To Set Up It.
2.)Once Signed In, Tap On Gear Icon Of Settings-Then Choose Settings Option.

3.)Scroll Down To Bottom In General Section.Head To Vacation Responder Section.
4.)Turn It On.
5.)Set Start Data And End Date.
Start Date-When Will You Want To Set Up Auto Responder.
End Date-When Will You Want To End/Turn Off Auto-Responder.


6.)Choose Subject, And Enter Message Which You Want To Set Up As Auto Reply In Gmail.
For Example-Set Busy Or Contact Me Later On This Date.
The Message You'll Enter Will Be Set As Auto Reply To Incoming Messages.
Check The Box Next To "Only Send A Response To People In My Contact" If You Does Not Want To Auto Reply To Other Contacts That Are Not In Your Gmail Contact List.
Leave It Blank If You Want To Reply To All Incoming Messages Automatically In Gmail.And Save Changes.
You Can Add Gmail Signature Also, If You've Gmail Signature, It'll Be Shown At The End Of Your Auto Vacation Response.You Can Read This Guide How To Add Gmail Signature.

Once Saved, When People Send You Messages And You're Offline As Well As Online, Auto Reply(Message You Set) Will Be Send To Them.

You Can Set Up Only 1 Message For Auto Reply.
If People Send Your Several Messages, This Auto Response/Message Will Be Send Once In 4 Days(Approx.).

Turn Off Vacation Responder-Auto Responder-When You Enable It, You'll See The Message With End Now Option.Tap On It To Turn Off Gmail Auto Responder.

Here're Some Condition Of This Feature-

1.) Auto Reply To Incoming Messages Will Start At 12:00 AM And End On Last Date At 11:59 PM, Unless You End It Earlier.
2.)Your Auto Vacation Response Start Over Each Time You Edit It.Incoming Messages Will See Your New Response.
3.)If You Use Gmail Through Work, School Or Organization Then You Can Choose Whether To Send Auto Reply To Everyone Or Only People In Organization.
4.)Spam Folder's Messages Will Not Receive Auto Response And Messages Addressed To A Mailing List You Subscribe Would Not Get Vacation Response-For Example-You Subscribe To A Newsletter From A Site, Vacation Response Will Not Send.

Method 2.)Set Up Gmail Auto-Responder In Gmail App On Mobile Devices-

1.)Open Gmail App In Your Android Or iOS, iPad 
2.)Tap On Menu Of Gmail App(Burger Type Icon At Top Left), Scroll Down To Settings.

3.)Then Choose Your Gmail Account.
4.)Then Scroll Down, Head To Vacation Responder Section, By Default It'll Be Off.


5.)Turn It On, Enter Start Date Of Auto Responder And End Date(Optional).Type Subject And Message Like Busy Now, Contact On A Specific Date Etc.Check The Box If You Want To Use This Auto Reply Only To Those Senders Who Are In Your Contact List.Leave It Blank If You Want To Use This Auto Responder For All.

After It, Tap On Done Option At Top.This Will Save Your Auto Reply, And When People Send You Message In Gmail, Vacation Responder Will Automatically Send Reply.
You Can Set Up Only 1 Message For Auto Reply.

If People Send Your Several Messages, This Auto Response/Message Will Be Send Once In 4 Days(Approx.).
Turn It Off By Going To Gmail App Settings-Your Account-Vacation Responder-Turn It Off.
