Sometimes Users Send Email To Wrong Email Address Or Wrong Message To Someone's Email Address.For Instance-You're Going To Send An Email To Your Friend But It's Wrongly Send To Your Boss.If Undo Send Feature Is Enabled You Can Undo The Sent Email.


In This Post, I'll Show You How You Can Undo A Sent Email In Gmail By Enabling "Undo Sent Feature" Of Gmail.If You're Android User, Then This Feature Is In Limited Mode.
Follow These Steps On Your PC And Android!!

For PC Users-
Step 1.)Launch A Browser In Your PC.Visit Gmail Website.
Step 2.)Sign In To Your Google Account To Access Gmail.
Step 3.)After You Signed In, Tap On The Gear Icon At The Top And Choose Settings.

Step 4.)Under General Section Of Settings, Scroll Down And Find "Undo Send" Option.Check The Box Next To Enable Undo Send To Turn On This Feature.Set The Cancellation Period i.e. 5 Seconds, 10 Seconds, 15 Seconds...30 Seconds.Choose The Right Duration To Undo A Sent Email.
Also, See-Move Emails From Promotional Tab To Primary Tab In Gmail On PC And Android
If You Choose 10 Seconds, Then You Have 10 Seconds Of Time To Undo A Sent Email And Similarly With Other Time Duration.

After You Enable And Set Cancellation Time To Undo A Sent Email, Scroll Down To Bottom And Save Changes.


After You Send Email To Someone's Email Address, A Message At The Top Will Appear With Undo Option.You Can Undo That Sent Email By Clicking On It.After The Cancellation Period Over, Undo Option Will Also Disappear.

For Android App Users-

As I Mention Above, Undo Send Feature Is Limited For Gmail App Users.You Can Enable "Confirm Before Sending" Feature To Avoid Sending Of Wrong Message.
When You Enable This Feature, Gmail Will Ask You To Confirm Send This Message Or Cancel.

Follow These Steps-
Step 1.)Open Gmail App In Your Android
Step 2.)Tap On The Menu Of Gmail App(Burger Type Icon At The Top Left Corner)
Step 3.)From Gmail App's Menu-Choose Settings.


Step 4.)Under Settings, Go To General Section Settings.
Step 5.)Under General Section-Scroll Down To Bottom And Check The Box Next To "Confirm Before Sending".
After It, When You Go For To Send Email To Someone's Email Address, Gmail Ask You To Confirm Sending Or Cancel.
