Gmail Provides A Lot Of Features Which Are Very Useful But Many People Does Not Know About All, If You Moved To A New Gmail Address Or Other Client i.e. Outlook And Want To Receive Old Gmail Address's Email Messages To Your New Gmail Account Address Or New Client Address Then You Can Set Gmail To Forward Mode So That Gmail Automatically Forward Incoming Email Messages From Old(Specific) Gmail Address To Your Other Gmail Address Or Other Client.


You Can Forward Your Gmail Messages To Your Outlook Mail Or Other Clients Also, So It Is Not Restricted To Gmail Only.


To Automatically Forward Incoming Messages Of Gmail To Other Account Address, You Need To Confirm Or Add A Forwarding Address, Here're The Steps You've To Follow-

Note-This Feature Currently Available Only For Desktop Users, If You're Android Or iOS User Then You Can't Forward Emails But If You've A Computer You Can Set Up This Feature.

1.)First Of All, On Your Computer, Visit Gmail And Sign In To Your Gmail Account.

2.)After It, Tap On Settings Icon And Choose Settings Option.Under Settings, Go To Forward And Pop/IMAP Section.

3.)There'll Be First Section Is Of "Forwarding", Click On "Add A Forwarding Address" Button Next To It.

4.)Enter The Email Address Where You Want To Receive Emails From Your Gmail Account.
For Instance-My Gmail Address Is Example@Gmail.Com And I Want To Get All Email To Example@Outlook.Com Then I'll Enter Example@Outlook.Com As Forwarding Address.

5.)After It, A Pop-Up Window Will Open And Ask You To Confirm Process Or Cancel, To Continue, Click On Proceed Button.

6.)After It A Confirmation Link Or A Confirmation Code Will Be Send To Your Forwarding Address.


7.)Sign In To Your Forwarding Address, For Instance-Forwarding Address Is-Example@Outlook.Com Then Go To Your Outlook Mail Dashboard, You'll Receive An Email With Confirmation Code Or Link.
Same If Your Forwarding Address Is Example@Gmail.Com Then Sign In To Gmail, You'll Receive A Confirmation Code Or Link.

8.)Click On The Link To Confirm.Sometime Link Expired Or Broke, In This Case, Copy The Code And Paste It To The Box To Verify In Gmail Settings-Forward Pop/IMAP (Your Gmail Address From Where Email Messages Forward To Other).

9.)Once Verified, You'll See A New Option Next To Forwarding Section(Turn It On)-Forward A Copy Of Incoming Mail To (Select An Account Address) And Choose An Action Out Of Four Available: -

A.)Keep Gmail's Copy In Inbox-This Will Keep The Copy In Inbox Of Default Gmail Address And A Copy Of Same Email Will Send To Forwarding Address.

B.)Mark Gmail's Copy As Read-This Will Send A Copy Of Email To Forwarding Address And In Default Gmail Inbox-Email Will Mark As Read.

C.)Archive Gmail's Copy-This Will Archive Forwarding Email In Default Gmail Inbox And Send A Copy Of Email To Forwarding Address.

D.)Delete Gmail's Copy-This Will Send Incoming Email To Forwarding Address And Delete Copy Of Email From Default Gmail Inbox.

That's It, Once You Choose Forwarding Address And Action Done In Default Gmail Inbox, Scroll Down And Save Changes.

To Remove A Forwarding Address-

1.)Go To Default Gmail Settings From Where Copy Of Email Forward To Other Address.

2.)Under Settings-Go To Forward Pop/IMAP Section, Head To First Section Of "Forwarding" - To Remove Forwarding Address-Click On Drop Down Menu Next To Forward A Copy Of Email To And Choose Remove Forwarding Address i.e. Example@Outlook.Com And Confirm.


3.)Scroll Down To Bottom And Click On Save Changes.
