No Extra Device Is Needed To Capture 360 Degree Photos, However To Capture 360 Degree Videos A Separate Device Is Needed.As Android And iOS Phones Don't Have 360 Degree Camera Built In(Yet, At Least), Its Easy To Capture A 360 Degree Photos Using Facebook App, Here's How-

In Your Facebook App, At Top Of News Feed-Tap On Status, Scroll To Top, Then Choose 360 Photo Option.

After It, Slowly Spin Around For A Full Turn(360 Degree), Keep The Main View Centered In The Middle, When Its Finished(From Start To 360 Degree), You Can Pick The Starting Point For The Photo You Capture, And Publish It.You Can Set Captured 360 Degree Photo As Your Facebook Cover Photo, That's It.

Your Friends Will See The Photo In 360 Degree View Even When You Set It To Your Cover Photo.This Update Only Applies To 360 Degree Photos For Now.While To Shoot A 360 Degree Video You Still Need Camera Like Samsung Gear 360, Insta 360 And Upload The Captured 360 Video Separately To Facebook.
